HE TRADED AN ALL PRO, DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR PASS RUSHER. JUST GOT RID OF HIM. HE REPORTEDLY NEVER EVEN REACHED OUT TO HIM. WHAT KIND OF COACH DOESN’T TALK TO HIS PLAYERS? ONE THAT IS LOOKING TO DESTROY HIS TEAM.

Update: Chucky strikes again right before Halloween. The Raiders have traded WR Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys for a 1st round pick. I actually don’t think this is a bad deal for Oakland. Still though, Gruden is totally demolishing this Raiders team.

Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders just traded an All-Pro Pass Rushers in his prime! Raider nation, it is CLEAR he is trying to ruin your team. No matter how many first round picks you get (reportedly two), you aren’t going to find another Khalil Mack. Khalil Macks don’t grow on trees. Gruden can’t just go find another Mack at Walmart.

The truth is that Gruden is trying to bury the Raiders franchise. He wants revenge against Oakland. If you don’t see it, let me explain:

Jon Gruden claims to love all things Raiders. While you can easily mistake the generous donations to the Oakland community or free parties for Raider fans over the offseason as an act of kindness from a loving man, they are all a facade to cover the hatred Gruden has for the Raiders franchise. A hatred that has boiled inside Gruden’s heart for over 16 years. Gruden’s plan is now almost complete. His revenge almost finished.

The 2002 season had just finished. Oakland had made the playoffs for the first time in back to back years in a decade with Gruden at the helm. Jon Gruden had poured his heart out to the city of Oakland and the Raiders’ franchise. He was expecting a hefty pay increase on his next deal. A contract that he would use to provide for his wife, Cindy, and their three children. A contract that would finally bring some stability to a family that has been in 3 different NFL cities in 11 years.

February 18, 2002, the Oakland Raiders traded Coach Jon Gruden to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a move that shocked the NFL.  With a hefty contract extension looming (around $4M/yr), Oakland shipped Gruden to the swamp known as Florida. Even worse, they shipped him to the lightning capital of the world. Gruden knew his life was in jeopardy with every mid-afternoon thunderstorm during training camp. To add even more insult to injury, the Raiders promoted Offensive Coordinator Bill Callahan to Head Coach. Callahan was literally running an offense that Gruden himself had installed.

Gruden would be forced to move his family across the country yet again. After 4 years of hardwork, Gruden had been back stabbed by the Davis family. Chucky, a nickname given to Gruden by Raiders defensive lineman Grady Jackson, knew that he had to get the last laugh.

Jump to Super Bowl XXXVII (that’s 37 for you boys and girls at home) a year later. Gruden had led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 12-4 record and he would be facing the city he once loved in the Super Bowl. Oakland was a 4 point favorite. The Super Bowl was in Cali and littered with Raiders fans. The Lombardi Trophy was supposed return to Oakland for the first time since the 1980’s but Jon Gruden had revenge on his mind.

So how did Gruden decide to repay Oakland? By absolutely annihilating them in the Super Bowl. Bill Callahan was too dumb to change a big portion of the audibles and Oakland kept the same playbook from the year before. Gruden was one step ahead of Oakland the entire game. They picked off Oakland QB Rich Gannon (who was the 2002 MVP) a Super Bowl record 5 times and returned 3 for touchdowns. Gruden totally embarrassed the Raiders and unrelentingly piled on 28 points in the second half after leading by 17 at halftime.

Kicking the shit out of the Raiders in the Super Bowl a year after being traded by them clearly wasn’t enough for Jon Gruden. He ached for more pain to the Raiders franchise. He itched to see them suffer for years. So in a Week 3 matchup against the Raiders, Gruden stuck his best defensive player on Raiders QB Rich Gannon. Rich Gannon would never play another down.

This was back when concussions were, “headaches,” and super duper funny. I mean “BAM, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.” This was back when football was football.

In one play, Gruden sent the Raiders into QB hell. The Raiders had 16 starting QBs between Rich Gannon and Derek Carr. That includes the worst punishment of all –  Jamarcus Russell and his $62M contract.

After the ship sank with the Buccaneers, Gruden believed his work was complete. How could be possibly do more to the Raiders’ franchise than beat them in the Super Bowl and send them to QB hell? Better yet, Oakland still loved him. They had no idea of the hatred he held in his heart. He had them all fooled. Oakland fans would remember the good old days, and Gruden would settle in the announcing booth knowing he had ruined the team that burned him almost a decade ago.

January 6, 2018, the Oakland Raiders announce a new deal with coach Jon Gruden. Chucky had returned. He could not believe after all these years he would get one last shot to torment the Raiders’ franchise. Now an Oakland/Vegas franchise that has seen the playoffs just once since the having their asses served to them by Gruden in the Super Bowl is returning to the man who took everything away from them. Little does Oakland know, Chucky still wants revenge. Chucky has added onto his plan.

Gruden signed a 10 year, $100M contract with the Raiders. Annually, his contract trumps the next highest paid coach an almost 20% increase. More than double what the Raiders refused to pay him back in 2002. Look at that smile. That’s the smile of a man who knows he just took advantage of Oakland yet again. That is a smile of deceit.

What has Gruden done since he accepted all that money to be the head coach?

HE TRADED AN ALL PRO, DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR PASS RUSHER. JUST GOT RID OF HIM. HE REPORTEDLY NEVER EVEN REACHED OUT TO HIM. WHAT KIND OF COACH DOESN’T TALK TO HIS PLAYERS? ONE THAT IS LOOKING TO DESTROY HIS TEAM.

Yes f***ing way Bruce Irvin. Look at the ramifications this going to have in the locker room. How can you tell a team you wanna compete and win games than trade one of the best defensive players in football?

He took a third round talent LT Kolton Miller in the first round of the NFL Draft. A pick that pissed off LT Donald Penn, creating a locker room divide between the offensive line.

He traded a third round pick for troublesome WR Martavis Bryant who isn’t even getting first team reps and may not see a lot of playing time. Someone who clearly dabbled in the devil’s lettuce too many times to understand a Gruden offense that contains the word banana in every other play.

He’s signed a bajllion players over 30 and a 29 year old running back (which means he’s two years past death in the NFL). Jordy Nelson, one of their big FA signings, can no longer run. The Raiders cut a younger Michael Crabtree, who outproduced Nelson in every statistical category last season, to make room for Nelson.

All of this is just the start. Gruden has a 10 year contract. He has 10 years to torment the poor souls of Raider fans everywhere.

Gruden Clause deemed the Raiders naughty a very long time ago and if Oakland/Vegas isn’t careful, they’ll be wishing for only coal come Christmas. Chucky brought the entire Raiders’ franchise to their knees for over a decade. He’s looking to do it again.
