2020 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 By 366 Sports

We are back for our second NFL mock draft, this time with two rounds! All 64 picks below! With that said, the Cincinnati Bengals are again, now on the clock.

With the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, The Cincinnati Bengals select : QB Joe Burrow, LSU

Manil : After an incredible title run, all signs point to Burrow being the #1 pick. The Bengals pick #1 for the first time since taking Carson Palmer and they yet again take a QB, this time the 2019 Heisman winner.

With the second pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Washington R-Words select : EDGE Chase Young, Ohio State

Tristin : With the exception of Joe Burrow’s selection before this, this is the only real “no brainer” pick in the draft. Young is a generational talent off the edge that will anchor the Washington pass rush for years to home.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The Detroit Lions have traded the third overall pick to the Miami Dolphins for selections five, 26 and 70 (third rounder)

With the third overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select : QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

Elsio : The Dolphins trade up to guarantee they get their guy in Tua here. It’s been speculated that the Chargers may have interest in jumping Miami for the highly touted Alabama product. Tua has the potential as well as the tools to be a franchise quarterback and the Dolphins intend to tap into that potential.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The New York Giants have traded the fourth overall pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for selections nine and 20.

With the fourth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select : QB Justin Herbert, Oregon

Matt : Follow the story of the last season and you can tell Jacksonville is not convinced Gardner Minshew is the guy. This just makes sense. Justin Herbert is built a lot like Blake Bortles and he’s a better prospect. We saw GM David Caldwell fall for Bortles in 2014. Would it really shock us if he went up and grabbed his guy this year?

With the fifth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select : CB Jeff Okudah, Ohio State

The Ozone

Matt: Not only do the Lions get their guy, they also collect an extra 1st and a 3rd as a result of a bidding war between the Dolphins and the Chargers. Jeff Okudah is one of the safest picks in the draft and should be a lockdown corner for years to come.

With the sixth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select : LB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson

Kaleb : So Jacksonville kind of screwed me here by offering the Giants two first round selections, a deal that I couldn’t possibly match. So we go defense first and take the most complete LB in this class in Isaiah Simmons and wait on a QB for the second round (which happened to be a solid option!).

With the seventh pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select : DL Derrick Brown, Auburn

Sports Illustrated

Manil : Many have the Panthers taking a QB for new HC Matt Rhule but after signing Teddy Bridgewater to a big 3 year contract and with the top 3 QBs all off the board and Isaiah Simmons going the pick before, the Panthers settle for the disruptive monster out of Auburn.

With the eighth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select : OT Jedrick Wills, Alabama

Image result for Jedrick Wills
Sports Illustrated

Tristin : The selection of Wills here fills in a need on the right side of the offensive line, and provides more protection for quarterback Kyler Murray. The Cards have had a really good offseason thus far, and the selection of Wills would solidify that.

With the ninth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select : OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia

Dan : I decided to trade back with the Jaguars since they offered two top 20 picks and the Giants could still get a premier tackle. That’s exactly what they get in Andrew Thomas, who I prefer over Tristan Wirfs. That being said, Wirfs is a great player too.

With the 10th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select : OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa

Image result for tristian wirfs
The Athletic

Dan : Speaking of Tristan Wirfs, the Browns get an outstanding tackle at pick number 9 that can guard Baker Mayfield’s blind side for years to come. There are sexier options here for Cleveland but their offensive line has been in shambles for a while and you can’t win with a bad line.

With the 11th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select : WR CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma

Image result for Ceedee Lamb
The Athletic

Elsio : The Jets make somewhat of a surprise pick here going with Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb instead of drafting the best tackle available in Mekhi Becton. Lamb was a dynamo for the University of Oklahoma and can provide Sam Darnold a very good option to throw the ball too. The best 3 tackles are off the board at this point, and there’s a big drop off. Give your young quarterback an elite receiver to throw the ball to.

With the 12th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select : WR Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

Image result for Jerry Jeudy
USA Today

Kaleb : With CeeDee Lamb gone this was the obvious pick for Las Vegas, they need another offensive piece to surround Carr with and Jeudy is debated as the best WR in this class. No brainer here.

With the 13th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select : WR Henry Ruggs III, Alabama

Image result for henry ruggs iii
USA Today

Kaleb : San Francisco just lost WR Emmanuel Sanders to the New Orleans Saints in Free Agency. Legendary QB Jimmy Garoppolo needs somebody to throw the ball to who’s name isn’t George Kittle. Ruggs comes in and fills up Sanders spot perfectly giving Gucci Garops a natural deep threat for the foreseeable future.

With the 14th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select : OT Mekhi Becton, Louisville

Image result for mekhi becton
Yahoo

Tristin : Becton is the last of the big four offensive tackles that will go in the top half of the first round. The Bucs decide on bringing in protection for the greatest quarterback of all time. Tampa could go with a running back here, but if Becton is available here, you take him.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The Denver Broncos have traded pick 15 to the Dallas Cowboys for picks 17 and 82 (third rounder)

With the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select EDGE K’Laivon Chassion, LSU

Image result for K'Laivon Chaisson
USATSI

Elsio : The Cowboys start the reload of their defense. Trading up two spots to draft probably the best EDGE rusher in this class after Chase Young, pairing him up with the much feared Demarcus Lawrence. They trade up to jump a favorite landing spot of Chaisson’s in the Atlanta Falcons.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The Atlanta Falcons trade pick 16 to the New England Patriots for picks 23, 87 and 125

With the 16th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select : LB Patrick Queen, LSU

Image result for Patrick Queen
Jason Getz / USA Today

Kaleb : Laugh at me all you want for what New England gave up to get him, but Patrick Queen has the potential to be a Dion Jones clone in the NFL. The Patriots need another stout LB after the loss of Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins, with no assurance he’d be there at 23 and giving up one of THREE third round selections plus a fourth, it doesn’t seem too much to me and New England gets a stud LB.

With the 17th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select : CB C.J. Henderson, Florida

Image result for CJ Henderson
Inside The Star

Matt : Denver quietly had a great off-season and picked up an extra third rounder by trading back with Dallas here. Henderson is has ball skills and athleticism be a team’s top corner. With Chris Harris Jr. moving on, it’s almost poetic for Chris Henderson Jr. to step in and take his place.

With the 18th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select : OT Josh Jones, Houston

Elsio : The best way to turn your franchise around is to draft your franchise quarterback, and to protect him. Miami knows that and takes a chance on tackle Josh Jones here. While Jones isn’t as talented as the top guys, I feel he’s worth a first round draft pick, and the investment Miami makes in Jones may have a direct impact on the career of new quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and therefore the future of this franchise.

With the 19th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select : CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama

Image result for Trevor Diggs
NFL Draft Geek

Kaleb : Vegas could also use some secondary help. Diggs seems like another smart pick just so they aren’t going into the season with Giants flop Eli Apple as their second best corner on week one.

With the 20th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select : EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State

Barry Reeger / Associated Press

Dan : With the Giants second first round pick after the trade, I have the Giants selecting Penn State Edge Rusher Yeter Gross-Matos. I really like this prospect even though he is a bit raw. He has a lot of natural ability and if he’s coached properly he could turn into an absolute beast as a pass rusher. In an ideal world if this trade were to happen, LSU Edge K’Lavon Chassion is available but he likely won’t be.

With the 21st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select : WR Justin Jefferson, LSU

Image result for justin Jefferson
Niner Noise

Tristin : The Eagles had a massive problem with their wide receivers dropping passes last season. They go with Jefferson here to address this problem, and continue to build on a team that looks to do the impossible and win back to back division titles in the NFC East.

With the 22nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select : EDGE A.J. Epenesa, Iowa

Image result for AJ Epenesa
Kirby Lee / USA Today

Tristin : The Vikings decided against bringing back Everson Griffin, and thus need to bring in an edge rusher to replace him Epenesa is one of the best edge rushers on the board, and could thrive in Minnesota.

With the 23rd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select : DL Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina

Fan Sided

Dan : It’s funny because when I traded down with the Falcons from pick 16 I was actually thinking about taking Javon Kinlaw there. Well it turns out I was able to trade down, watch the Patriots maybe reach for a guy they possibly could have gotten at 23, and still get the guy I wanted at pick 16. Kinlaw will help any defensive line and he is an absolute beast. His position doesn’t have a ton of value in the top 15 but at 23 you may as well shoot your shot.

With the 24th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select : LB Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma

Image result for Kenneth Murray
Charlie Reidel / AP Photo

Dan : The Saints select ILB Kenneth Murray here. This pick is the perfect balance between need and value as Murray is an incredible player that fills a huge need. He can eventually quarterback the Saints defense and provide them with someone who can make a ton of tackles for years to come. This pick is a no brainer.

With the 25th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select : Laviska Shenault Jr., Colorado

Image result for laviska shenault
Ron Chenoy / USA Today

Tristin : Minnesota comes back up in the first round and drafts a potential replacement for Stefon Diggs, who they traded to the Buffalo Bills. Shenault, despite being a first round candidate to a lot of people, seems to be a bit under the radar still in my eyes. Minnesota takes him and forgets that Laquon Treadwell even existed.

With the 26th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select : HB D’Andre Swift, Georgia

Swift eager to show he can be Georgia's No. 1 tailback
News Tribune

Matt : The first running back comes off the board and this time it’s Matt Patricia taking a Georgia RB in the first round. Swift is the best back in the class and can step in and immediately provide the Lions offense with something they haven’t had in years: a stable 3 down running back.

With the 27th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select : S Grant Delpit, LSU

Image result for grant delpit
Kim Klement / USA Today

Elsio : The Seahawks could go with a lot here, but I think the foremost need they can fill is at the safety position. Grant Delpit showed elite coverage skills with LSU and I see Seattle falling in love with what they saw from him. Delpit can be a cornerstone guy in Seattle’s secondary for years to come.

With the 28th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select : IOL Cesar Ruiz, Michigan

USA Today

Kaleb : Ravens lost a BIG piece in their offense with Marshall Yanda electing to RETIRE ahead of the 2020 NFL Season. Ruiz could be viewed as a reach in the first round, but the Ravens weren’t going to get him if they waited until the second. Easy plug-and-play move for Baltimore to move quickly after Yanda going down.

With the 29th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select : EDGE Julian Okwara, Notre Dame

Image result for Julian Okwara
Sports Illustrated

Manil : After watching all of the pass rushers go one after another, the Titans reach a little for some pass rush help.

With the 30th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select : S Xavier McKinney

Image result for xavier mckinney
MCall

Tristin : The fact that McKinney lasted this long is a bit of a surprise, but adding someone of McKinney’s caliber would strengthen this Green Bay secondary, so he’s the pick here.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The San Francisco 49ers have traded pick 31 to the New York Jets for selections 48 and 79 (third rounder)

With the 31st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, The New York Jets select : OT Austin Jackson, USC

USC football: Austin Jackson to enter NFL draft
Sportswire / AP
Elsio : The Jets make a surprising move to trade back up into the first round to draft tackle Austin Jackson. Jackson may be viewed as a day 2 guy, but not as a day 2 guy that’s guaranteed to be there when the Jets come back onto the clock, tackle help is desperately needed and the Jets reconcile skipping that in favor of dynamic playmaker CeeDee Lamb at 11 by trading back up and taking a talented tackle in Austin Jackson.

THERE’S BEEN A TRADE! The Kansas City Chiefs have traded pick 32 to the Carolina Panthers for selections 38 and 69 (third rounder)

With the 32nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select : CB Kristian Fulton, LSU

Image result for Kristian Fulton
The Athletic

Manil : Kristian Fulton is the #2 corner on many boards, so for him to slide all the way to 32 is a shock. The Carolina Panthers had one of the worst defenses and just saw their best corner leave for New York in free agency. There are a lot of teams that could use a cornerback, so why wait and hope he falls? The Panthers trade up with the Chiefs and get a steal.

Round 2 :

  • Pick 33 : Cincinnati Bengals select IOL Lloyd Cushenberry III, LSU
  • Pick 34 : Indianapolis Colts select QB Jacob Eason, Washington
  • Pick 35 : Detroit Lions select EDGE Terrell Lewis, Alabama
  • Pick 36 : New York Giants select LB/EDGE Zach Baun
  • Pick 37 : Los Angeles Chargers select QB Jordan Love, Utah State
  • Pick 38 : Kansas City Chiefs select RB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
  • Pick 39 : Miami Dolphins select RB J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
  • Pick 40 : Houston Texans select WR Tee Higgins, Clemson
  • Pick 41 : Cleveland Browns select CB A.J. Terrell, Clemson
  • Pick 42 : Jacksonville Jaguars select S Antoine Winfield Jr., Minnesota
  • Pick 43 : Chicago Bears select TE Cole Kmet, Notre Dame
  • Pick 44 : Indianapolis Colts select WR Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State
  • Pick 45 : Tampa Bay Buccaneers select DL Ross Blacklock, TCU
  • Pick 46 : Denver Broncos select WR Denzel Mims, Baylor
  • Pick 47 : Atlanta Falcons trade down with Los Angeles Rams for picks 52 and 126, Los Angeles Rams select DL Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma
  • Pick 48 : San Francisco 49ers select CB Jeff Gladney, TCU
  • Pick 49 : Pittsburgh Steelers select EDGE Curtis Weaver, Boise State
  • Pick 50 : Chicago Bears select S Ashtyn Davis, California
  • Pick 51 : Dallas Cowboys select IOL Matt Hennessy, Temple
  • Pick 52 : Atlanta Falcons select EDGE Josh Uche, Michigan
  • Pick 53 : Philadelphia Eagles select LB Malik Harrison, Ohio State
  • Pick 54 : Buffalo Bills select WR Jalen Reagor, TCU
  • Pick 55 : Baltimore Ravens select DL Justin Madubuike, Texas A&M
  • Pick 56 : Miami Dolphins select IOL Jonah Jackson, Ohio State
  • Pick 57 : Houston Texans select OT Isaiah Wilson, Georgia
  • Pick 58 : Minnesota Vikings trade pick 58 to Kansas City Chiefs for picks 63 and 138, Kansas City Chiefs select CB Bryce Hall, Virginia
  • Pick 59 : Seattle Seahawks select EDGE Jonathan Greenard, Florida
  • Pick 60 : Baltimore Ravens select EDGE Khalid Kareem, Notre Dame
  • Pick 61 : Tennessee Titans select OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn
  • Pick 62 : Green Bay Packers select LB Troy Dye, Oregon
  • Pick 63 : Minnesota Vikings select DL Raekwon Davis, Alabama
  • Pick 64 : Seattle Seahawks select TE Brycen Hopkins, Purdue
